January's coming to an end?!?!?!?! Oh, and, CNY's fucking over? Wts have I been doing all this while man... It feels as though I've been cheated of my time cus I've been wasting my life away... btw I've got no more lectures to attend any more! All that's left is a group report, 2 papers and 1 dissertation. After that I will probably look for a job and enter the next phase of life? Gosh the thought of that is kinda scary, I don't know what to expect! Bitey very photogenic right? It's an inquisitive hamster that's why it's relatively easy to capture a shot of it looking into the camera lens. Had impromptu lunch with Charissa at Nex yesterday. Then we went over to my youngest aunt's place to collect some hamster cage and accessories. Didn't club for the past 2 days though I was tempted to. Spent the eve nuaing at home with bf over a SMALL amount of booze and snack, on the couch, in front of the TV. That's life! :D

Woke up at 1pm today. Glad that my lazy arse got miraculously motivated, and now I'm somewhat done with my reflective report. Gna spend the next 3 days working on dissertation. Payback time for doing nothing for the past 2 weeks. D:

5 days ago me, Kenneth, Pei Qi and Gregory went down to TMC to see Anson, Pei Yi and Andrew. The baby was smiling a lot and he's such an adorable little boy! :)Pei Yi still quite energetic after delivering baby Anson. Power!! No epidural some more.

Been partying for the past weeks. Shall go on a clubbing diet. Studies first for now. Shouldn't be my resolution cus it's what I'm supposed to do in the first place.

Had one celebration on the eve with Snare, Hk, Zhenwei and Kenneth over at my place. We did pot luck lunch then played wii and cards and mj. Hope my house didn't bore them to tears. Cus my house got zero entertainment value actually hahah. Didn't carol in the end.

Went over to my mom's side place for lunch celebration and dad's side place for dinner celebration today. Have been out the whole day, quite tiring. My bed's so inviting tonight... Didn't take much photos cus I'm not exactly close to my cousins so I'll probably look fucking stupid and fake if I snap pictures with them randomly. Though I do find my cousins cool but I really feel quite sad sometimes that no one made any effort to stay close to begin with.

X'MAS CHAPTER ONE: UOB CLIQUE!

Dinner + gift exchange + games @ Settler's Cafe.
Chilling out session @ Damala's place.

We played this new game at Settler's that was really fun! We have to trade like a market place with other players to get 8 similar cards (e.g. 8 cards that read wheat/barley/sugar/etc) then we can trade any amount of cards with any player concurrently with other 'tradings' going on. Then if someone got the full set they must secretly take the bone on the table. There are 5 bones and 6 players so the last one wo the bone will get 'hammered' by the first player. Ok I think my description does not fully depict the true awesomeness of the game. And I don't even know what the game's called la. FAIL.

Jasmine was my mortal and I think I made it too obvious during an E-marketing project meeting. Shittttttt. :( Chaopo was my angel. Realised his gift was super just fitting. I suspect my feet grew bigger? Cus my right foot looks overgrown in that slipper. Sian. But I will wear it to nearer places like AMK or J8 or smth! Almost everyone else made little gifts for the rest who werent their mortal. So I got a pad holder and cookie and chocolates! :D Yay!!!!! Oh yay, it's finally the end of year holidays once more :D With less than 2 weeks to the start of 2012, I can't help but wonder what have I actually accomplished this year? Went for my last dental appointment today, Dr Oh asked me if I wanted my braces removed today and I said yes, so here I am braces-less again like how I was 2 years ago. Time really fleeted by. I know I use the 'time flies' phrase A LOT but time really flies what can't help but repeat that saying like a broken record. First meal without braces wasn't as bad as I imagined it to be, my teeth didn't fall apart and crack. So all's well. :) I kept smiling at the mirror today to check and see if I looked funny. Probably looked a little mad to people around me, but I AM TOO HAPPY TO CARE!

Caught Immortals yesterday and Puss in Boots today with boyfriend. I enjoyed both movies very much. Different genre but both were awesome! :D Think I did too much crunches during muay thai last night, now I can't laugh or sneeze without feeling the ache. Hope the achy feeling wears off TOMORROW! Bought a new dress today and done buying xmas present for favourite aunt.

Twiny's turning 21 in 2 days time! :) yup so last night she threw a party at Aranda country club. The rain was freaking huge at my area but luckily it was only drizzling slightly at the East.
The balloons damn nice right!!! :D Love the colours lor. Pretty!

The cake also very nice! but it was about to melt cus of the outer layer of icing so the cake cutting ceremony was pushed forward a little.

Overall everything went smoothly cept for the fact that the first cake wasn't in a good condition. But luckily they quickly replaced it with a proper one, if not sure spoil mood. Oh ya and I kinda 'forced' her friends to play cards with me and time fleeted by.

Dear had dinner with me even though he got 3 deadlines tmr. Wah lau I feel kan chong for him lor, he like still so composed and willing to accompany me as I shop around. It's going to be my actual birthday in a few hours' time. Actually I don't really feel excited, unlike Saturday night, because party's over and it's just another school day. On the bright side I will get to see bf tmr for a mini celebration :) Smth to look fwd to! Else the thought of the 6 hours lect makes me kinda depressed >:[

Before my actual celebration, Aunty Yoke lan and family came down to have lunch with my family just to pass me my present just because they couldn't make it in the night. Although I did mention I didn't want necklace but the one they got me was chio. I wore it in the night btw. And two days before my celebration darling met me to celebrate and catch up. Really miss her... hope she flies back soon :(

Decided to hold my birthday event at Relish (SRC). The building's very old. It's been there before world war 2 I think? But I quite like the ambience at Relish not too old looking or too kua zhang to host a 21st celebration. Plus I didn't know if it will be too late to book a hotel or chalet since I only started planning for my birthday 1+ month in advance.I was damn nervous the night before cus I was quite worried that the whole event will fall through or that I will fail miserably as a host. But I guess I worried for nothing as there wasn't any major hiccup along the way... In fact I did enjoy myself and I hope everyone there did too!

Reached the location at 3+ and started decorating the place. My theme was blue so you'll see a lot of BLUE in the coming picturesssss. hahah. My mom, e.e, momo's friends and Kenneth helped out with the decorations and luckily we went early cus the banner and streamers were time consuming to put up.

THIRD was Ding jie. My mom's close colleague's son. We knew each other since we were like 10? Thanks for attending... he even bring his stuff to study lah. Imbar! :P

Food was served on the dot. And I am quite pleased with the food. I think src didn't let me down. :) Although it may not be perfect but their service and location etc were beyond my expectations. The guy there was super efficient at clearing the tables. Then there was even an inside joke...

Seriously, they clear the plate too fast even before I finish my food he want to take away my plate liao. Even my mom's friends also noticed. hahah. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

Had IHRM video conference today. (or ytd, cus technically it's past 12am hahah) After the VC the clique headed down to Dempsey with rumbling stomachs! And since Yen likes Korean BBQ, we decided to have that! Personally I am not a fan of anything Korean (cept Rain's hot bod), but after dining at Chang, my perception of Korean food changed a little. hahaha. but no not a convert yet but that doesn't negate the fact that the food was good! Service was good too btw, they BBQ the food to perfection for us. Side dishes were good too... not a fan of sweet potatoes and brinjas but I have to say that there's a first time to everything and surprisingly, I think they made dishes I don't like, taste ok.
LOOKS YUMMY RIGHT?!?!?! I hope you aren't seeing this in the middle of the night and have an empty kitchen cus it would really be torture...

I know it's the exam break and I should be mugging my ass off or smth. But yes, I spent my weekend over at Snare's chalet. Didn't even sleep much so when I went back on Sunday, I slept for almost 13 hours... Don't ask me how I did that, I don't know either... The previous night I was playing jenga and drinking and singing out of tune and mah jong-ing and we even walked to Changi Village to see hot 'babes' and have nasi lemak for supper. And I think I had less than an hour of sleep then it was the next day already!!! Time flew by after that and before I know it we had to do the decorations. And then it was already the celebration 'timing'

TO-EAT PLACE #1: ROCK&ASH

So, yes! Despite the fact that I overslept (I shouldn't even have napped in the first place... didn't revise nor go for muay thai in the end ytd, TMD!!!), we managed to head out to Novena for Rock&Ash. It's something like a cross between Swen's and fastfood? More price-y than your usual Burger King or Long John and they serve Western, the chips kind of stuff... yeah.

Took their fries w some spicy cheese sauce and some wasabi sauce as well. I can say that both are pretty wicked. Super spicy. Like those stomach ache oil kindof spicy. But nevertheless it's SHIOK. Should've tried the curry one though... or the chocolate. :P

Portion's generous. From the main dish to the fries. BUT the cake is small. Likka seriously small. Even the waitress call it a TINY cake. And, we got what she mean when it came...

Okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk it's been so long since I last updated this space. First of all, THERES NO SCHOOL TOMORROW!!!!!! YAY :D hahahah. And there's only one 3 hour lecture today. Hanged out with Yen, Damala and Jasmine @ KAP after school till almost dinnertime then bus-ed over to Snare's place for dinner. Her mom is so sweet. Cooked homecook dinner for me and her. AND SNARE STOP COMPLAINING THAT YOU DONT LIKE THE FISH! I want homecook dinner also don't have lor. so count your blessings dear. Her mom still say that I can go over for homecook meals more often. Felt the love, baby! :P Then we just did nothing constructive (but time flew by somehow) and I raped her iPhone (hence the photos below :S) Think if I own an iPhone my fb friends will be blinded by my zi nian photos lor. wth. man.

Anyway, if you think you are an awesome friend, you thought wrong. Cus friends don't keep things from the other party ESPECIALLY when the piece of information is vital for the well-being of him/her. WENT TO F21 TODAY! :) Shopping really made me felt so much better after all these weeks of mayhem. I bought 2 playsuits, 1 top and 2 dresses. Then momo and I went to eat at Marche. Then we headed to J8 to do grocery shopping and headed back home. Now I am just lazing around a lil before I head to my grandparents' place! Okay that's all don't know what to update also. Next week very busy... Wish me luck. I hope i don't die from exhaustion... :(

My new job starts tomorrow. 3rd company i'd be working for this vacation. First it was OLAM then KONE, now, AVTECH. And!!! I'll be back at new tech park! So much for screwing up my interviews at Awfully Chocolate and Prada. :( Guess I am too fugly and plain for them eh?

Tomorrow will be my last day at Kone. They decided against extending me eventually. I will seriously miss the people there. And my role as a 'loan shark' has come to an end... Anyway, I will miss Cai Lian and Jacqueline and Alicia and the Finance + Accounts dept. Kone is really a good place to work at. Till now, I have not regretted taking up this job instead of a better paying job from a more reputable company. Cus the environment there is really good! :)

Cai lian, thanks for your patience and guidance throughout the month. Although I'm a slow learner, you never lost your temper. Also, your bubbly personality never fail to brighten up the entire department. Take care and hope you will REALLY have a day you can leave at 6. heh heh.

YESTERDAY WAS A SUPER LONG SATURDAY. Went for Xue's POP in the early fking morning then headed to Jac's party followed by the afterparty @ Zirca. When I came home I was like super shag physically but I didn't collaspe on bed the instant I stepped into my room though. Wished I did. Somehow I can't really sleep in these days. Screwed up body clock. Slept at 5+ but auto got up at 10. AND IT IS FRIGGIN SUNDAY LIKE IT IS MY ONLY CHANCE TO SLEEP A LIL MORE... }:[ Ohya I realised I haven't been posting here for a few days so unlike the PJ who makes her life public to everybody...

Bro's POP was at floating platform. Kinda happy that POPs are no longer at Tekong. Town area is so much more convenient for everyone! Plus the photos come out prettier cus of the buildings at the background. Good for him. He's got a week to rest from NS before he gets his posting. Hopefully he gets some place nearby.

Darling's birthday! :DThe party was a resounding success! The cake was good. The food was good. Music good. Okay you get the drift. ;) Everything went smoothly and according to plan!!!!

Always wanted my 21st to be at a grand hotel but after seeing the party yesterday I feel that location doesn't matter. You can have your party at a cozy house and it can be so much better than somewhere expensive. Seriously reconsidering my options.

Danced with my new F21 heels and my feet were damn sore when I got up this morning. Guess its because the heels too high bah. But the heels didn't 'bite' the skin of my feet. So I still love it very very much! :D And I spent super a lot on shopping this week luh! :( dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
